Flat Rate Shipping:
Viva Gourmet charges a flat amount for shipping regardless of how many products you are purchasing. Standard FedEx ground shipping for non-perishable items is $10.00. Standard FedEx overnight shipping for orders including perishables is $28.00. So, the more items you purchase, then the more cost effective this flat-rate fee is for our customers.
Overnight Shipping:
Please note that all perishable items are automatically shipped FedEx Overnight service (next business day) to ensure your product arrives in good condition. All fresh and frozen food products are carefully packaged in insulated containers and packed with ice packs. All order received by 11:00 am EST will be shipped the same day. Orders containing perishables, placed between 11:00 am EST Thursday and 11:00 am EST Monday, will ship on Monday.
Ground Shipping:
Orders consisting of only non-perishable items, such as dried mushrooms, oils or vinegars, can be shipped FedEx Ground.
Saturday Delivery:
Saturday delivery is available for non-perishable items only in limited areas for an additional fee.
Shipping Restrictions:
At this time, we are not accepting orders for shipments outside the U.S.A.
Buying Food Online:
Because of the fact that these items are perishable we suggest that someone be available to take delivery of the product. To ensure delivery we do not require a signature, and request the shipper leave it at your door. If you will not be home and require a secure place to leave the package, this should be noted in the 'Special Requirements' section of the order form. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, APO's, or FPO's.
FedEx delivers between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm.
NOTE: We highly recommend shipping to a work address or have someone at home.
Tracking Numbers:
If a valid email address is given at the time of order we will send an email with the tracking number. This will allow you to track your shipment.
Verify Shipping Information:
Be sure to verify your shipping address. Always double check the email receipt. We cannot be held responsible for lost shipments due to incorrect addresses. Every attempt will be made to ensure deliveries reach the correct destination.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather and or natural disaster, it is possible that delivery may be delayed or returned.
