“O” Olive Oil – Tahitian Lime 8.5 oz

O Olive Oil Tahitian Lime will quickly become a go-to pantry staple. Fresh Tahitian limes are pressed together with California mission olives. This is NOT “infused” with flavors but carefully pressed together in harmony resulting in the fresh flavors of both the olives and the limes shining through. This results in a delightful accompaniment to both fresh salads and grilled veggies. This is a pantry staple you won’t know how you lived with out (8.5 oz bottle). The lime is a perfect compliment to fresh avocado, grilled chicken or drizzled on sea bass. ( and of course your salads! This lime olive oil pairs beautifully with Chardonnay Vinegar from Spain)

Many of our ingredients are perishable and therefore by necessity, require FEDEX Standard Overnight shipping. There is no way around it - it's costly, and understanding shipping calculations practically requires a degree in actuary science!

In order to help defray your cost of shipping, we have incorporated shipping discounts for many of our finer ingredients. These ingredients are noted on the web site and the discounts will be automatically calculated when the ingredient is added to your cart. These discounts are cumalitive, so you could end up with very low or no shipping charges. (dependant on your location)

The best part is that you might as well add that extra pound of mushrooms, a bottle of truffle oil, some pasta or your favorite "pantry staples" because the shipping costs may not even change!

Artisan/History/Story

"O' Olive oil company has been consistently winning the Fancy Food Show awards (SOFI) as well as California olive oil competitions. They use only family-raised citrus and mission olives which are then pressed together. They are also free of lead which is sometimes found in imported oils. Mario is putting together a wonderful tasting of their oils for me in the picture.

How to Prep/Store

These olive oils are pressed at the peak of freshness for superb flavor. The dark bottle is a built-in protector from harmful light so keep within easy reach. Keep, as with all good oils, out of direct sunlight. There is no need to refrigerate and it will only serve to cloud and thicken your oil. This won't hurt the oil but will make it less appealing. You will be amazed at the things this oil will bring to life.

Recipe Ideas

This is fabulous on just about anything. Needless to say it is wonderful on a salad of fresh greens and veggies. But don't stop there. It is absolutely divine on avocado. Either solo or your favorite avocado toast. Th lime flavor is crisp and refreshing and a bit different. Bring out a Caribbean flair to to a nice fresh fish filet drizzled with Tahitian lime olive oil and fresh fruit  for contrast.( mango is a great complement for both the fish and the lime) It also divine drizzled on fresh scallop ceviche.
