Baby Shiitake Mushrooms

Baby shiitake mushrooms are packed with flavor and in a compact size. Just toss them whole into the pan and next thing you know the earthy aroma of shiitake mushrooms and their silky texture will be adding dimension to your dinner plate! Some people swear they smell and taste of the forest . . . complete with pine and garlic notes. I’ll leave the taste comparison up to you–but they are delicious!

All fresh mushrooms ship Monday thru Thursday via FedEx overnight shipping. (A word of advice–might as well fill up that box, it costs X to get any size box somewhere overnight. Oftentimes several more pounds will only marginally affect shipping. (And sometimes it goes down! Honestly you need a degree in actuarial science to understand shipping rates.)

The best part is that you might as well add that extra pound of mushrooms, a bottle of truffle oil, some pasta or your favorite "pantry staples" because the shipping costs may not even change!
